Meet our Pastor:

Pastor Frank and Debbie Lenihan

Pastor Frank and Debbie began pastoring our church in the winter of 2002. Pastor Frank and Debbie are originally from California. Debbie is from Costa Mesa and Frank grew up in the mountains of Northern California. In the winter of 1990 they met at Knotts Berry Farm in Southern California while Pastor Frank was assigned to Marine Corps Air Station El Toro and Tustin. They were married in Irvine, CA in 1991. Pastor Frank and Debbie have four children and have been serving in Christian ministry for over 25 years, 19 of those years as a pastoring couple. Pastor Frank received his theological training at Prairie Bible College in Alberta, Canada, Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga, TN  and Master's International University of Divinity in Evansville, Indiana. Pastor Frank holds a Doctor of Divinity Degree, a Master of Arts Degree in Ministry and a Master of Arts in Judeo / Christian Studies with an emphasis on modern Israel. He is ordained through the Mennonite Brethren Board of Faith and Life, Lustre MB Church and also IMF (International Ministerial Fellowship). He previously pastored the Gouldtown Gospel Church in Saskatchewan and the Calvary Baptist Church (CBNW) in Pendleton, Oregon. Pastor Frank has worked as a volunteer with: the Navigators, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Royal Family Kid's Camp, Camp Elkanah, Beacon Bible Camp, Awana, Open Air Campaigners, Relay for Life, Bridges for Peace, Samaritan's Purse, and Promise Keepers.

Hobbies:

Pastor Frank and his family love to travel. Pastor Frank began traveling his senior year of High School when he moved to Sweden for a year as an exchange student. He has since been to: France, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Russia, Japan, Canada, Israel, Greece, Italy, Ukraine, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Mexico, and Nome Alaska. During a summer sabbatical Pastor Frank took Amanda and Timothy to Israel for a two month stay where they spent time learning more about Israel and volunteering with a Christian ministry there.
In 2001 Pastor Frank took his first trip to Israel with a Christian Ministry called Bridges For Peace. He has traveled to Israel eight more times since then, leading six different tours there. In 2005 Pastor Frank was recognized by the Israeli Government as an official Ambassador of Good Will for the State and People of Israel for his work in connecting Christians to Israel and in educating the Church of our historic Hebraic roots. Bridges For Peace is a Jerusalem-based, Bible-believing Christian organization supporting Israel and building relationships between Christians and Jews worldwide through education and practical deeds expressing God's love and mercy. It is their desire to see Christians and Jews working side by side for better understanding and a more secure Israel. Pastor Frank serves as the Montanan State Representative for BFP. He has also served on the BFP National Board of Directors and is always looking for new opportunities to share what God is doing in and through the land and the people of Israel.

Hospitality:

Pastor Frank and Debbie operate a small coffee cafe called "Higher Grounds." It is a place to stop in and enjoy a carmel latte' or an Italian Soda or a spiced chai latte'. It's all free of course so there is no reason not to stop in. And if you are one of the lucky ones, you might just get to taste one of Pastor Frank's fresh baked almond biscotti or some of Debbie's raspberry glaze bread.
Pastor Frank and Debbie are the proud parents of two girls and two boys. Amanda served as a Military Intelligence Specialist in the U.S. Marine Corps and is now a student at Colorado Christian University in Denver. Timothy is an ROTC cadet at U of M and an Air Crew Mechanic on the CH-47 Chinook for the Montana National Guard. He recently graduated as the Honor Man of the U.S. Army "Air Assault" school located at Fort Hood, Texas. McKaylah is a student at Dawson Community College in Glendive and Elijah attends Lustre Grade School. Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends and taking pictures of family, friends, pets and animals. Timothy enjoys basketball, hiking, and working on his 1970 Custom F-100 pick-up. McKaylah enjoys music and is often seen playing piano and drums. Elijah likes anything that has to do with sports, basketball, or cars. He has lots of energy and keeps all of his siblings on their toes.
Dr. Frank Lenihan is an Alumni of Master's International University of Divinity located in Evansville, IN with a Master of Arts in Ministry Degree and a Master of Arts in Judeo / Christian Studies.
